Lincoln Abe Security

Lincoln High School has been home to many well-known athletes throughout the decades. Sugar Ray Seales, Vince Hanson, Jim Jones (not the rapper, but the football player), Stafford Mays, Lawyer Milloy, Dave Williams, and even former head coach Jon Kitna to name a few.

The Abes finished the season 10-1 this year and 7-0 in league play. With a playoff loss to Bonney Lake 35-28 the present and the future looks bright. One of the biggest sleepers in 2017 has made a name for himself at Ford Sports Performance. He quite possibly could be one of the biggest, most agile athletes to step foot through Ford Sports doors. Quazzel White is 6’4” and a solid 295lbs. Starting at left tackle for Lincoln last season he accumulated over 60 pancakes and only allowed 2 quarterback sacks.

“I feel as an offensive lineman no one had better tape than me.” White stated while working out at FSP facility. “The training from Tracy and his staff has allowed me to trust everything I’ve learned in training. I wouldn’t want to train anywhere else.” said Quazzel. “The way I train and how I focus on aggression instead of having to think about the little things will allow me to play faster.” Quazzel said reflecting the FSP training regimen.

Lincoln High is poised to make a serious title run next season. Led by another FSPer Joey Sinclair at quarterback and is currently paying wide receiver for the Ford Sports Performance 7v7 team which starts play in a couple weeks.

“Next year I feel our team will be ready and I know we will be able to get to the next level”, Quazzel White said about the Lincoln Abes football program.

With no lineman needed for the 7v7 teams Quazel White has been training hard at FSP and even getting exposer at the Nike Opening in Eugene. “I enjoyed my time they really expanded the lineman portion of the Opening Camp.” replied Quazzel about this exposer as a recruit. He shined at the Opening and Washington’s camp. Quazzel has grown up rooting for the Huskies and the Ducks and would love to play for either squad.

As of now New Mexico, Utah State, and Washington have shown the most interest in “Quazzy” the nickname given to him from day 1. His brother is also a huge 2019 upcoming recruit. Remember the name Giovanni White, a 6’2” 260lb offensive lineman who is being brought up in the Lincoln Abes system. They finished their first season under new coach Masaki Matsumoto who replaced John Kitna after he accepted coaching job in Waxahachie, Texas.

“Both coaches have a lot of similarities, Coach Mask is all about the details and continued the no-nonse approach Coach Kitna has instilled.” Quazzy said after being asked about the new direction for Lincoln Abes football.

Quazzel has major upside as an athlete, he models his game around the likes of Dallas Cowboys star Tyron Smith,a USC Trojan standout. “I look up to my big brother Zach Banner” replied Quazzel with a big grin who will always show his Tacoma, Washington pride. Ford sports has recently seen an influx of athletes who are hungry to get better from Lincoln High School and other Tacoma area schools.
