The SAT tests knowledge aquired in reading, writing and math skills learned during school years. The result of the SAT gives colleges a preview into how prepared an individual will be for college level cirriculum and thinking.

Essentially. taking the SAT provides a trusted and globally recognized indicator of readiness of college.

The sooner student-athletes take the SAT, the better. With that said, the SAT has an infinite number of attempts which allows individuals to continue to improve and earn the highest score possible.
